Michelle Garcia, Music Teacher at Narooma Primary School, will share with you her new Music Program that students have been learning in 2018. She will cover teachings from Kindergarten to Year 6. Then whizz through singing, rhythms and instruments leading us into the After School Music Program, where you will meet our after school teachers and learn what they do and be entertained.

‘Palmistry – help you understand your characteristics, personality and abilities by looking at your hands.’

Dianne is a course taker so has learned about many interesting subjects. Her last sojourn into education was completing her PhD in 2016. Dr Di’s thesis analysed the long-term effects of the Tamworth Institution for Boys on the males incarcerated there in the 60s and 70s. She has had 127 books published on various subjects including biographies, histories and a 4 volume encyclopaedia on Papua New Guinea. Tonight she will help you understand Palmistry.

Film and the state of exhibitors in Australia along with old v new actors. Plus a little rugby thrown in to appease the President

John Griffiths was born 18 Feb 1948, lived near Liverpool and later Westmead. He and his brother attended Westmead High and later Granville High. He commenced playing rugby at 13 for Westmead against his father’s wishes. His father was a die in the wool Parra League supporter. At 16 he commenced playing grade for Parramatta from where he went on to play for NSW and Australia. After he and Janette returned from Perth, he started his own business and later bought a share in United Sound Studios which they sold in the 1990’s which then lead to them buying the business of Narooma Kinema.

Word Sorts, writing fluency, CARS & STARS, Five minute frenzies, TENS and Matific- it sounds like a randomly generated collection of strategies we use to build and enhance student knowledge of both literacy and numeracy.

Tania will share her knowledge of literacy/numeracy for Kindergarten to Year 3. Katrina will focus on the complex skills and understanding developed in our Year 4-6 learners.
